North Country Freedom Homes, Inc. (NCFH), a Substance Use Disorder facility is accepting applications for the position of Director of Services. NCFH consists of 24 community residence beds which will be undergoing conversion in the 820 regulations to reintegration status. All beds are OASAS certified.
The Director is responsible for the overall operation, efficiency, and management of the organization. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, self-directed, knowledgeable about current trends in the field, and able to execute goals that fulfill the NCFH mission and vision.
Requisites for the position are: minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field, Health Management, or a related area. Progressive supervisory/management experience with at least three years of executive management experience in a non-profit, human services agency, preferably one dedicated to serving those with SUDs. Candidate should have a current CASAC (other QHP considered) and be able to oversee non-clinical matters of the overdose program. Have the skills to relate with regulatory and governmental agencies, regional agencies and coalitions, and the community as a whole. Resident Aide Position in Community Residential Setting Our Resident Aides (RA) work under the Supervision of the Resident Manager. Assist residents in becoming accustomed to the CRS routine and encourage them to participate in social and recreational activities to promote recovery. RA’S also perform routine household tasks as assigned by the Resident Manager. An ideal candidate has some knowledge about recovery, has a high school diploma or GED, 21 years of age or older with a clean NYS drivers license enabling them to drive or vehicles. Must be able to work independently without close supervision, able to prepare simple meals, and able to consistently and fairly apply the policies and procedures of NCFH.
